The race to deploy hydrogen mobility is in full swing, but reducing production costs is one of the main challenge to achieve it. This is the goal that the DAM group has set itself to achieve: to offer competitive and universally applicable hydrogen systems.

Villeurbanne, 30th june 2021 – Becoming a member of the HZwo innovation cluster, DAM Group is continuing to expand its hydrogen activities in Germany, particularly in the Saxon region. In the Saxony-based innovation cluster HZwo, companies and research institutions from Saxony as Fraunhofer-Institute have joined together to optimize the cooperation between academic research and business and to increase the innovative power of companies.

The HZwo innovation cluster also coordinates one of the project proposals for the future German technology and Innovation Center for Hydrogen. This project, which is one of three finalists on national level, will be at the forefront in the hydrogen field for training, research and certification at the national level.

By welcoming a French hydrogen player among its members, HZwo is sending a strong message about the expertise and innovative nature of the solutions provided by DAM Group, both in terms of end-of-line production testing and in terms of Research and Development (laboratory bench).

DAM Group is continuing to grow with several orders for fuel cell conditioning benches, bipolar plate leakage test benches and high-pressure test benches for delivery by the end of 2021.

The Group is also in discussions with several major European players in the sector, and should secure an order book until 2023.

Two events at the service of a strategic and rapidly expanding industry

  • FC³ Fuel Cell Conference Chemnitz

DAM Group will participate to the second Fuel Cell Conference Chemnitz FC³, the 23th and 24th of November 2021 in Chemnitz. The conference focuses on the aspects of fuel cells that are suitable for series production and their hydrogen powertrain, as well as efficient production using state-of-the-art production processes. The conference is organized by the Saxon innovation cluster “HZwo – Antrieb für Sachsen” and the Fraunhofer-Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU.

On this occasion DAM Group has responded to a call for scientific paper and will present its work on the development of two highly innovative strategic components for fuel cell systems:

a universal Cell Voltage Monitoring (CVM), capable of adapting to all types of stacks thanks to male, female, contact connector.

a bypass valve that drifts the airflow outside the fuel cell system to cut off the air flow, improving the performance and lifetime of the stack.

  • HyVolution Paris

DAM Group will also be present at the Hyvolution exhibition on 27-28 October 2021 at the Paris Event Center.
This key event brings together the French and European hydrogen industry for two days of business and high value-added content.

DAM Group will present its latest innovations
